Edible

On my walk today, I collected some pictures for Denzil’s Nature Photo Challenge for this week.

Blackberries, yet to turn black
Pear, yet to become soft
Grapes, yet to turn sweet
Walnut fruits, yet to turn into nuts

And just for some fun, here’s one experimental plant that I saw earlier this year at a horticultural exhibition in India. Brinjal is another English term for Eggplant/Aubergine – at least in India. Don’t know if this name is used anywhere else except in the Indian subcontinent. Let me know!

Brimato (Brinjals and Tomatoes growing on the same plant)

    1. Thanks Denzil 🙂. I have no clue about Brimato. I saw it for the first time in that exhibition. Side-note – at the moment, India is having a tomato shortage and people are very upset about it because tomato is a key ingredient of most Indian vegetarian recipes.
