A Door on the Side

From this side, nothing looks amiss. But when I came in from the other side through the archway, I was momentarily startled to find a door right there, as if it was a mugger! If someone would’ve been coming out from inside, there was a fair chance of both of us scaring each other. Or may be the people living there are used to this by now and don’t get spooked that easily!

What about you? Would you’ve jumped if someone suddenly came out from here while you were unsuspectingly coming from the other side?
