I cross this house almost everyday but never noticed how pretty this door looks in its simplicity. I guess I didn’t notice it because I’ve always been walking on the pavement close to the door. Seeing it from the other side made it come into focus. It is so much like Life – we sometimes just need another vantage point to look at it to appreciate the beautiful things in it!

For Dan’s Thursday Doors.
In this blog, I focus on sharing some of the photographs that I capture, often during my travels but also in the everyday life. If you’d like to read about my travels, you can find the stories on this blog – Reflections on the River.
This is a beautiful photo in its simplicity. I appreciate your thoughts and it’s true that it all depends on your vantage point.

That is a lovely door. I can imagine that it’s quite a different experience on the side close to it.
