I wonder if anything in Granada is unimpressive, even if we keep The Alhambra aside. There is this really old Albaicín neighborhood where I had the good fortune of staying in, while I was visiting Granada on a short trip. Walking in that neighborhood at any time of the day is amazing.
One early morning, walking by this simple wooden door there, gave me the feeling as if time was still while generations of people have gone through it.

It’s an inexplicable feeling, I guess. Something that makes you wistful, longing for a time that’s gone, wondering if you were there in a past life too..
For Dan’s Thursday Doors.
In this blog, I focus on sharing some of the photographs that I capture, often during my travels but also in the everyday life. If you’d like to read about my travels, you can find the stories on this blog – Reflections on the River.
I always wonder, when I see an old door, what stories it could tell. Thousands of people have passed through that door, and they all had a story.

Exactly 🙂..and yet, there must be the same common themes running in everyone’s lives what we call the human condition!
