I happened to be in the city of Friedrichshafen situated beside Lake Constance (Bodensee in German) over a long weekend.
I’d been seeing the domes of two towers of a church from far away. So I looked it up on the internet and found that they belonged to the castle’s church there. As it was still too early to go back to the hotel, I made my way towards the church.
The church was gorgeous. But what made me very curious was to see a bunch of cows grazing in a small meadow (or should I call it a garden?) right opposite to the church! I have no idea who owned them and even though they had yellow tags in their ears, they didn’t look like the commercially raised cows. Rather, they looked like the cows in India! See for yourself.

The grass was lush green and abundant. So I think that the cows were having a good time there 🙂.
These pictures were from before I went inside the church. When I got out of the church, then I don’t know why they all had huddled in one corner.
These are mysteries I probably will never find the answers to. I am just happy to have come across them while they were enjoying their evening meal, however brief that meet was.
Posting for Cee’s CFFC.
In this blog, I focus on sharing some of the photographs that I capture, often during my travels but also in the everyday life. If you’d like to read about my travels, you can find the stories on this blog – Reflections on the River.
I love these photos of the cows. 😀 😀

Could a neighbor own them? Maybe even the church?
