As I was walking through the Borghese Gallery, I found that amidst all that wealth of paintings and sculptures, there were these closed doors to some rooms. Even the doors were decorated so beautifully! It felt like the whole place is a shrine for art, however scrupulously or unscrupulously that art was collected by Cardinal Borghese in the 17th century. How would it’ve felt to live constantly surrounded so much beauty?

This is my entry for this week’s Thursday Doors photo challenge.
Wow that’s very unusual! It’s a very cool style.

Glad you like it Amy..I was also very impressed – it was nothing when compared with the magnificent artworks in that gallery but it was also nice art when seen without any comparisons..

That’s a beautiful door. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a door with artistically painted panels. It’s amazing.
