Oh they do that! Not jump but if they are some distance away from you and they want to cross the road, they will keep waiting until you are near and then they would run across. This behavior has caused many sudden braking events as you can imagine 😀..

T try here are drivers like that. The road will be clear, yet they wait until you’re close before pulling out. I’ve never understood that. 😳
