The lovely city of Riga has the highest concentration of buildings with Art Nouveau architecture, in the world. I am so grateful to have visited it, before the Covid era. I am sharing some pictures here of the ornamentation which is so typical of that style, which was very impressive but shortlived (may be 20 years at maximum)! Riga had a booming economy at that time and so, the city folks had the money to invest in the latest fashion – which as the name means “new art”.
