When I saw this for the first time three years ago, I didn’t know what it was. It looked like a frilly rose has jumped inside a cabbage but it was neither a cabbage nor a rose. Turns out – it is an ornamental kale! What would we do without the internet?

This is my entry for the Cellpic Sunday photo prompt by John.
I’ve started a new photo series this week – named “Only in Museum” about the fascinating things I find in museums. Details of the series are on this page. It would be great if you also joined the party, by sharing what you found in your visits to the museums. The first post in this series is here Only in Museum – #1 and the second one is here Only in Museum – #2.
Interesting! I’d never heard about ornamental kale. Beautiful.

Thanks John 😀. Yes, me neither before seeing this. There is ornamental cabbage too but I have not seen that live yet.
