Difficult to believe that it is already the middle of October. I wonder whether it’s the life that’s passing by or the time or both, and I am the one standing still! May be it looks different from another vantage point.
Anyway, I am happy that this year didn’t get “wasted” like the last two years of relative inactivity for me. What is waste for me, you ask? It means not traveling, even when I have the time and a strong desire to do so. Whether it’s the time or the life that’s passing, all that matters is how we are passing either. Isn’t it?
I am glad to be living in the 21st century and having access to the technology to capture some of those fleeting moments. That way I can share them with my loved ones who are not with me at that time, or relive the moment myself by going back in time!
Like when crossing the beautiful hills/mountains on a journey and the sun is playing hide and seek with the clouds. (Journey details here).
Or looking out from the airplane window and finding windmills poking out from the clouds.
Or the brief moment when the clouds part and you get a glimpse of a fairytale castle. (Details of the trip here.)
Or for once, just once, getting to see the sun really dip into the sea, without someone pulling down the curtains to “cloud” the mystery of sun’s disappearance! (Where was this? Find here).
And the best part is finding something new in the picture you’ve taken a while ago, when going through the album to revisit the memory of the trip. Like finding a hidden rainbow!
These are some of the stills that I wanted to share in response to the Sunday Stills prompt from Terri here (Thanks Terri :-)).
